BSEB Bihar State Teacher Eligibility Test (BSTET / STET 2026) Notification Overview
The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) has officially issued the advertisement notification (Advt. No. P.R. 183/2026) for the Bihar State Teacher Eligibility Test (BSTET / STET 2026). This statelevel eligibility examination is conducted to determine the eligibility of candidates aspiring to become Secondary School Teachers (Class 9–10) and Senior Secondary School Teachers (Class 11–12) in government and governmentaided schools across the state of Bihar.

The Bihar STET examination is broadly divided into two major papers:
- Paper-I (Secondary Teacher Eligibility): Qualification assessment for teaching secondary classes (Class 9 and 10) across diverse subjects including Hindi, English, Mathematics, Science, Social Science, Sanskrit, Urdu, and physical education.
- PaperII (Senior Secondary Teacher Eligibility): Qualification assessment for higher secondary classes (Class 11 and 12) covering disciplines such as Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics, Commerce, Economics, Computer Science, and Humanities.
