Indian Air Force (IAF - Bhartiya Vayu Sena) has officially released the Answer Key for the recruitment of Air Force Common Admission Test (AFCAT) 02/2026. Candidates who appeared for the computer-based examination held on 08 August 2026 can now access and check their official answer key through the candidate portal using their Registration Number, Enrollment Number, or Date of Birth.
Recruitment Overview & Scope
AFCAT is a prestigious national-level entrance test conducted twice a year by the Indian Air Force to recruit eligible Indian citizens (men and women) as Commissioned Officers in Flying and Ground Duty (Technical and Non-Technical) branches. Candidates selected through AFCAT 02/2026 will undergo rigorous military and specialized branch training at the Air Force Academy (AFA) Dundigal, Hyderabad, starting in 2027.
Pay Scale & Remuneration Matrix
Selected candidates will receive a fixed stipend of Rs. 56,100/- per month during the training period. Upon successful commissioning as Flying Officers, officers are placed in Pay Level 10 of the 7th CPC Pay Matrix (Rs. 56,100 - Rs. 1,77,500), along with Military Service Pay (MSP) of Rs. 15,500/- per month, Dearness Allowance (DA), Flying Allowance, Field Area Allowance, Transport Allowance, and various other central government perks and medical facilities.
