This recruitment drive covers a wide range of positions including Assistant Commissioner, Principal, VicePrincipal, Post Graduate Teachers (PGTs), Trained Graduate Teachers (TGTs), Primary Teachers (PRTs), Librarians, and various NonTeaching cadres such as SSA, JSA, Stenographer, ASO, and MultiTasking Staff (MTS).

The recruitment process for KVS and NVS aims to select highly qualified educational professionals and administrative staff to serve in autonomous institutions under the Ministry of Education, Government of India.
