The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced the results for the Joint CSIRUGC NET June 2026 Examination. The CSIRUGC NET is a nationallevel eligibility examination conducted to determine eligibility for Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) and for Lectureship (LS) / Assistant Professor in Indian universities and colleges, as well as admission to Ph.D. programs across scientific disciplines.

Overview of CSIR UGC NET June 2026

The examination covers five core scientific subjects: Chemical Sciences, Earth, Atmospheric, Ocean and Planetary Sciences, Life Sciences, Mathematical Sciences, and Physical Sciences. Candidates who qualify for JRF are also eligible for Assistant Professorship subject to fulfilling the eligibility criteria laid down by UGC. The National Testing Agency conducts this national test in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode across multiple examination centers throughout India.
