• Commercial Cum Ticket Clerk: Pay Level 3 (Initial Basic Pay ₹21,700/- plus applicable Dearness Allowance, House Rent Allowance, Transport Allowance, and Railway Medical Facilities).
• Accounts Clerk Cum Typist, Junior Clerk Cum Typist, and Trains Clerk: Pay Level 2 (Initial Basic Pay ₹19,900/- plus applicable DA, HRA, TA, and other admissible perks).

Roles & Responsibilities

Appointees are entrusted with critical administrative, operational, and commercial operations across various Railway Divisions. Commercial Clerks handle reservation, ticketing, and luggage booking. Clerks cum Typists assist in administrative accounting, record maintenance, clerical documentation, and operational data entry. Selected staff have transparent career ladders with regular departmental promotional examinations enabling them to rise into supervisory and managerial gazetted positions.
