The Supreme Court of India (SCI) has issued an official recruitment advertisement (Advt No. F.6/2026SC (RC)) for the appointment of Junior Court Assistant (JCA) posts. A total of 250 tentative vacancies have been announced to form an empanelment list for this Group-B (NonGazetted) cadre.

Pay Scale & Job Details

Selected candidates will be placed in Level 6 of the Pay Matrix with an initial basic pay of Rs. 35,400/- per month plus standard allowances as admissible under Supreme Court rules. The posting will primarily be located at the Registry of the Supreme Court of India in New Delhi.

Eligibility & Reservation Overview

Educational Standard: Candidates must possess a Bachelor's Degree in any discipline from a recognized University in India along with basic knowledge of computer operations and English typing proficiency.
Reservation: Categorywise reservations (SC, ST, OBC, EWS, and PwBD) will be applied strictly as per Rule 4A of the Supreme Court Officers and Servants (Conditions of Service and Conduct) Rules, 1961.
Provisional Selection: The tentative number of posts may be modified depending on administrative exigencies and Registry requirements.
