United India Insurance Company Limited (UIICL) has officially released an extensive employment notification for the recruitment of Administrative Officer (AO) Scale-I for the year 2026. Emoluments and Pay Scale Structure
Selected candidates for the post of Administrative Officer (Scale-I) will be placed in the regular pay scale of Scale-I Officers. The starting basic pay is approximately ₹50,925/- per month in the scale of ₹509252500(14)-859252710(4)-96765, accompanied by standard allowances. Total initial monthly gross emoluments will be approximately ₹88,000/- per month in metropolitan centers. In addition to basic pay, officers are entitled to:
- Dearness Allowance (DA): Adjusted quarterly based on the Consumer Price Index.
- House Rent Allowance (HRA) / Leased Accommodation: Provided as per city classification and company rules.
- City Compensatory Allowance (CCA) & Transport Allowance: Based on posting station.
- Perquisites & Other Benefits: Medical insurance coverage for self and dependents, Group Personal Accident Insurance, Leave Travel Subsidy (LTS), pension under the National Pension System (NPS), gratuity, loans and advances at concessional rates (housing, car, computer), reimbursement of newspaper, briefcase, and mobile expenses.
Probation, Career Growth & Service Conditions
Selected candidates will undergo a probationary period of one year from the date of joining, which may be extended by up to six months based on performance appraisal. Officers may be posted anywhere across India based on operational requirements and are eligible for promotions up to the senior executive leadership cadre through fasttrack internal departmental examination processes.
