The Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board (UPPRPB) has released the notification and admit card update for the massive recruitment drive of UP Home Guard Posts. This recruitment initiative aims to fill a total of 41,424 vacancies across various districts in Uttar Pradesh. Candidates who have successfully registered and cleared the initial written examination can now download their Physical Efficiency Test (PET) / Physical Standard Test (PST) Admit Card 2026 from the official UPPRPB portal.

Salary Structure & Pay Matrix

Selected candidates for the UP Home Guard position will be placed in the pay scale of ₹9,300 – ₹34,800 with a Grade Pay of ₹4,200, along with applicable state government allowances including Dearness Allowance (DA), House Rent Allowance (HRA), and medical benefits as per Uttar Pradesh government norms.

Important Qualification & Scope

To be eligible for the Home Guard positions, candidates must have completed their 10th (High School) standard from a recognized education board. Candidates serving in government, semigovernment, or public sector undertakings are not eligible for this recruitment drive. The selection process ensures transparency through written test, document verification, physical tests, and comprehensive medical examination.
